Aloe Vera has been known to aid in the healing of burns, cuts, and abrasions of the skin, often reducing or eliminating scarring.

Witch Hazel Extract.....The bark and leaves of the Witch Hazel (Hammamelis virginiana) are valued for their astrigent and sedative qualities, which are commonly used to halt minor cuts or bleeding. The high content of tannins in Which Hazel, as well as other acidic elements, also aids in reducing inflammation of the skin, burns, varicose veins, insect bites, and hemorrhoids. Medical use of the plant began with Eastern nations to the the Native Americans, and Witch Hazel's medicinal qualities were later confirmed by European settlers.

Tea Tree Oil.....Native to Australia, tea tree has been valued for centuries for its antiseptic and disinfecting properties. Recent studies have proven that it also has uses as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent. Because it has been shown to be non-toixic and a non-irritant to mucous surfaces, and because of its analgesic qualities, it is especially useful for the treatments of cuts, bites, and inflammation of the skin.

Salicylic Acid.....Present in most fruits and vegetables, salicylic acid has long been used as a cure for fever and pain and is considered the chemical ancestor of asprin. This anti-inflammatory compound is also frequently used topically in acne medications.
