Zinc Oxide
Assists in the growth and repair of skin tissue. Acts as a broad spectrum UV deflector.
Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum oil) A valuable moisture and skin conditioner rich in Vitamins A and E. High in antioxidants and assists in protection against sun damage. It is also a natural deflector of UV rays as it has a natural SPF.
Grape Seed Extract (Vitis vinifera (seed) extract) Promotes cell repair, growth and is one of the most powerful antioxidants known. Provides a source of Vitamin D and assists in protection against free radical damage from UV radiation.
Green Tea (Camellia sinensis extract (liposoluable)) Ranks up there with Grape Seed Extract as being one of the most powerful antioxidants available. Anti-inflammary and a natural disinfectant.
Research in 1997 suggests that concentrations of the extract topically provided significant anti-melanoma protection.
Grape Seed Oil (Vitis vinifera--refined grape seed oil) Significantly more antioxidant activity than Vitamin C, E and Beta Carotene. Contains the highest amount of Linolelic Acid of all oils.
Macadamia Oil (Macadamia ternifolia (seed) oil) Closest in comparison to the oil we lose from our skin as we age. Nourishes the skin and locs in moisture-replenishing fatty acids. Prevents and reduces signs of aging. Works in conjunction with the antioxidants to retain the integrity of the collagen and elastin in preventing wrinkles and aging.
Safflower Oil (Carthamus tictorius oil) High content of omega oils, nourishing to the skin and has a natural SPF. This oil is very rich and assists in nourishing and moisturizing the skin where sun damage may have already occured.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate/copherol 1250) Protects the body tissues from breakdown and signs of photo aging. Excellent moisturizer and has scar healing qualities.
Iron Oxide Primarily used to color the sunscreen without causing it to tint the skin.
Bees Wax (Cere alba (wax)) Used to assist in the water resistance of the sunscreen.
Candellia Wax (Candelia cere (wax)) Used to assist in the water resistance of the sunscreen.
Vegetable Oil A vegetable oil mix as an emulsifier and the main ingredient in safflower oil.
Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides Derived from coconut oil source and used as an emulizifer.
