| 100% NATURAL---SAFE & EFFECTIVE |
It used to be that prostate health was something that most men did not
worry about until they were in their sixties. That is no longer the case as
there are more and more men that are experiencing swollen prostates in their
forties and even their thirties.
This is particularily distressing as it is an indicator of the
increasing number of men that are getting protate cancer at ever
younger ages.
This prostate formula is designed as both a curative formula and as a
preventative (as an adjunct to help the body help itself). It is a formula
that our Master Herbalist became familar with in the early 1970's. It was
introduced to him by an elderly Canadian herbalist who had been making and
selling the formula since the mid 1920's---with large repeat orders into the
1970's. This was a testament to our Herbalist to the value of this formula.
The only change made to the original formula was the addition of Saw
Palmetto Berries, which has made the formula even more effective. There is a
syrnergy with the Saw Palmetto and the Cubeb Berries---when used together they
are more effective than when either is used by themselves.
Ingredients: Parsley Root, Juniper, Uva Ursi, Saw Palmetto
(140 mg.), Marshmallow, Queen of the Meadow, Cubeb Berries, Licorice, and
Kelp.
All natural--contains no artificial preservatives, additives,
excepients or binders.
Suggested Use: 2 tablets twice a day or as directed by a
healthcare professional.
Summary of Ingredients:
Parsley Root:
Herbalist have recommended Parsley Root for
strengthening the kidneys and as a specific for the adrenel glands. It is
powerfully therapeutic for the optic nerves, the brain, and the whole
sympathetic nervous system, and is an excellent tonic for the blood vessels,
particularily the capillaries and artries. It is also likely that the very
high level of potassium in Parsley Root contributies to it's
effectiveness on the prostrate. It contains 3,800 mg of potassium per 100 gr.
of dried Parsley and has more iron than any other green along with vitamins A
& B and three times the potency of vitamin C than citrus juices. Therapeutic
properties are: diuretic, tonic, antispasmodic, and expectrant. Uses are:
dropsey, gall bladder, gall stone, gravel aches in the lumbar region, menstral
obstructions, jaundice, urineses, kidneys, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea,
nephritis, cyctitis, intermittent fevers, hepatitis, obstruction of liver and
spleen, female problems, swollen breast, cancer prevention, difficult
urination, syphilis, gonorrhea, and catarrh of the bladder.
Juniper:
The chemical constituients are: volatile oil--1 to 2%,
resin--10%. Therapeutic properties: stimualnt, diuretic, anodyne and
ammenagogue. Traditionally, Juniper has been used for renal dropsey, vesical
catarrh, rhematic pains, sciatica and swollen joints. This is an herb with a
very long history of use and has been a blessing to people with almost any
urinary tract dysfunction.
Uva Ursi:
This herb has a specific healing action upon the genitourinary
organs. It is used in the treatment of gravel or ulceration of the kidney and
the bladder. It acts as a solvent to uranic calcli deposits. Uva Ursi
stimulates the action of the kidney and is astringent due to the tannic acid
content. It nourishes and strengthens the urinary tract while it acts as a
diuretic. This plant has been used with great success since the 13th century.
Saw Palmetto:
Saw Palmetto Berries are particularly useful in
conditions of asthma, bronchitis and other catarrhal problems. The berries
have been used for this purpose for centuries. It is only in recent years that
the berries have been used for the strengthening of the prostate. This
wonderful herb has been found to act as a tonic for the prostate and is a very
good herb to use in both tonic and curative formulas for this gland. It has
also been found that Saw Palmetto is a beneficial herb for
clearing the kidneys.
Marshmallow Root:
This herb is 25% to 35% mucilage, where most of our dietary
silicon is found. Silicon is one of the basic cellular building blocks.
Silicon is a biological cross-linking agent that contributes to the
architecture and resilience of connective tissues. Marshmallow
is attributed as one of the major botanicals for the strengthening of the
entire urinary tract. It has also been used in formulas for the softening of
the entire urinary tract. It has been used in formulas for the softening in
the kdney's. Something that is not commonly recognized about Marshmallow
is the pectose found in it which when combined with weak alkaline water,
produces petosinic acid which carries a large amount of oxygen--- which
accounts for some of the herbs great life-giving and revitalizing properties.
Queen of the Meadow: This is a tall graceful plant,
growing to the heigth of six to twelve feet. It disolves calcification and
adhesions and internally it is used as a diuretic, tonic, nervine, stimulant
and stone solvent. It is also excellent for kidney and bladder diseases and
cystitis.
Cubeb Berries:
The chemical constituients of this herb are approximately:
Volatile oil --15%, Resin--3.5%, cubebin--up to 3%, cubebic acid--to 3%.
Therapeutic properties include: diuretic, stimulant, carminative, expectorant,
disinfectant. It is eliminated by the bronchial mucus membranes, skin, kidneys
and genito-urinary tract, all being powerfully stimulated, increasing
secretations, and at the same time disinfected. It imparts to urine a pecuilar
distinctive odor. Common uses include: gonorrhea, urethritis, vesical
irritabilty cyctitis, abscess of prostate gland, hemorrhoids, chronic
bronchitis and catarrh. Cubebs, when properly understood and correctly used,
are one of the best remedies for the above named conditions. It should be
noted that large doses of Cubebs are an irritant and they should
be used in combination with other herbs.
Licorice:
Licorice is known as a mild laxative, demulcent
and nourishing herb. It contains potassium salts and glycyrrhizic acid, which
make it a very sweet herb and provides the common Licorice
flavor. This herb has been used the world over and extensively in the far
east. It is attributed with assisting in the stabilizastion of blood sugar in
hypoglycemai. Licorice has a very positive effect on both the
lymphatic system and the colon. It allows for the draining of toxic lymph
fluid and at the same time helps to soften the stool. It contains asparagin
whic is approximately 12.5% nitrogen, which is essential for the nucleus of
all cells. It is believed that this is one of the major reasons for the
effectiveness of Licorice. Forklore states that Licorice
as an herb acts as a female aphrodisiac and has been used in China and other
far eastern countries for this purpose. Licorice is also a good
source of calcium and potassium, both necessary for good prostate health.
Kelp:
Kelp is another mircle food. It contains a
valuable iodine and most other minerals and trace elements. It also contains
complete proteins and vitamins C,K,A,E,D. and B-12 (which is seldom found in
vegetable foods).
